New Delhi: The BJP on Tuesday attacked Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor, who is locked in a fresh controversy around the Kochi IPL team which he helped set up, saying that Prime Minister should sack him immediately.
Ravi Shankar Prasad, the general secretary of BJP said, “If minister influenced IPL, it is a case of corruption. Prime Minister must sack him immediately.”
“It’s a copybook case of corruption. The CBI must investigate the issue,” Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
Talking about Kashmiri beautician Sunanda Pushkar whom Shashi Tharoor is supposed to marry, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “It is in public domain that Sunanda is known to Tharoor.”
He asks if Tharoor can deny close links with Sunanda Puskar.
