SRK a Pak sympathiser, nothing wrong in protest:VHP

The VHP today backed Shiv Sena’s protest over Shah Rukh Khan opposing exclusion of Pakistani players in IPL, saying there was “nothing wrong” in it as the country is not prepared to tolerate a “Pakistani sympathiser”.

VHP international general secretary Praveen Togadia, however, opposed Sena’s ‘Mumbai for Marathis’ campaign.

“Mumbai, the financial capital of the country, belongs to the entire country and if a group or a particular political party claims exclusive right over it, it is not acceptable to the people of the nation”.

On Khan favouring inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in the IPL, he said “People opposing Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘My Name Is Khan’ are doing nothing wrong. Countrymen are no longer going to tolerate a Pakistani sympathiser”.

“His remark has hurt feelings of countrymen who have made him a Bollywood hero,” Togadia told reporters at Poanta in Sirmour district.
