New Delhi: A cool breeze blew across the national capital throughout the day today making it the coldest of the season so far with maximum plunging below 15 degree Celsius for the first time this winter.
Delhiites wrapped themselves in extra woolens to fight the chilly weather as sun played hide and seek throughout the day.
It was almost an overcast sky for the capital though sun came out for sometime during noon hours but it did not heat up Delhi as a cool breeze was blowing. Mist kept the sun away from warming Delhiites during the morning hours.
The maximum dropped to 14.6 degree Celsius, six degrees below normal for this period of time, while minimum was recorded at 7.8 degrees, one degree above normal, the MeT Office said.
It was for the first time that the maximum temperature slid below 15 degree mark this season.
