India banned file sharing sites !

New Delhi : According to various reports, Department of Telecom (Dot) ordered most of the Indian internet service providers to ban file sharing hosts like Rapidshare, Megaupload, etc.,

Many of the internet service providers have already started to implement the ban.

Sources says that, this step is taken to stop pirated music and movies downloads in India.

File sharing is one of the most popular and common thing among Indian internet users. It will be interesting to see how Indian internet users are going to react towards the service providers with this step from Dot.
