Bangalore: Kallis blazing innings of 88 runs from 55 balls including 8 fours and 5 sixes give comfortable win to Royal Challengers Bangalore. Robin uttappa too contributed with his 51 runs of just 21 balls including 4 fours and 4 sixes helped RC Bangalore note their first victory in IPL 3.
Earlier Manvinder Bisla and Ravi Bopara powered Kings XI Punjab to a strong 203-3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday.
Bisla hammered his first half-century in the IPL and went on to score 75 from just 51 balls with the help of seven fours and four sixes, while Bopara stroked his second consecutive fifty as the pair added 129 runs for the first wicket after captain Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and opted to bat.
