Haley Bracken, the wife of Aussie paceman Nathan Bracken, left little to imagination courtesy a revealing outfit she wore at the Allan Border Medal on Tuesday night.
According to the ‘Herald Sun’, Haley emerged as the showstopper at the event as she walked the red carpet in her see-through mesh bodice, atop a mermaid-style train.
Bracken designed the daring frock herself, and she now plans to wear it in the Mrs World Australia and Mrs Globe Australia competitions in 2010.
“I thought I’d design a dress that I could use for those events and of course for this event too,” News.com.au quoted her, as saying.
She added: “I wanted something that was eye-catching.”
Hubby Nathan said: “When she went through and told me what it was going to be I was a little unsure. But when I saw it all come together, it was amazing.”
Michael Clarke’s fiancé Lara Bingle also turned heads with her unconventional accessorising. Donning a plunging white frock, Bingle wore temporary tattoos of draping necklaces and multiple bracelets.
She said: “It’s Chanel tattoos. It’s something new that they’ve done.”
Clarke joked she was ‘copying’ him with tattoos, but added she looked ‘outstanding’.
